The Ephraim Inn is not designed for everybody... it is certainly not a family resort. We are, frankly, the nicest place in Door County for couples, and we strive to provide a quiet, service oriented, friendly and well located lodging facility.

Each guest room is different and uniquely special in shape, view, size and selection of furnishings. An upscale country theme flows throughout the Inn including a number of accents, such as baskets, candles, books, stenciling, quilts, pegboards, and some canopy beds creating a cozy romantic atmosphere.

We honestly feel all of our guest rooms are wonderful and you will be pleased. However, your main decision is made easy by answering one question: Do you wish a water/harbor view or do you wish to view the yard/bluffs?

Yes, I understand this is a "request only" for certain dates, but this becomes a "confirmed reservation" as soon as I receive my confirmation. All cancellation policies apply to me when I receive my confirmation either by e-mail or through the mail.

Cancellation policy: Your deposit is refunded if you notify us at least 21 days before your arrival date minus a $15 handling fee which is charged or all cancellations for alterations of dates. If circumstances necessitate your canceling or changing dates of your reservation within the 21 day limit, we most certainly do sympathize, but we must maintain a business policy and you will be charged for the nights you have reserved unless we can re-rent the entire stay. Note we will not re-rent a portion of the stay.

Deposit Requirements: We require a 50 percent deposit of your entire stay at this time. It is credited to the last days of your stay, and the advance deposit provides a mutual protection. You are guaranteed the entire reserved period. And we have dependable information regarding arrival and departure plans of prospective guests, thereby enabling us to accurately and fully utilize our limited space.
